Overview
SmartBiii needed a social shopping platform that lets users crowdsource deals, share lists, and coordinate purchases across a community feed. The challenge was building a real-time, scalable system with social features alongside a reliable backend for deal management and reporting.
What we did
We built a Django REST API backend and React frontend in an Nx monorepo with real-time updates. The platform includes a social deal feed, collaborative shopping lists, deal submissions, reporting dashboards, and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Result
A community-driven shopping platform with a real-time social feed, built on a backend ready to scale.
